I Bit (1 bit)

Field : I bit = Init bit
Length : 1 bit
Contents : initialization bit.
If set to 1, this packet is the first of multiple DD packets.
M Bit (1 bit)
Protocol : OSPF OSPF PCI
OSPF Type: Type 2 / Database Description (DD)
Field : M bit = more bit
Length : 1 bit
Contents : more Bit.
If set to 1, more DD packets will follow.
MS Bit (1 bit)
Protocol : OSPF OSPF PCI
OSPF Type: Type 2 / Database Description (DD)
Field : MS bit = master / slave bit
Length : 1 bit
Contents : master / slave bit.
If set to 1, the sending router indicates that it will be master during the database exchange process.
DD Sequence Number (4 bytes)

OSPF Type: Type 2 / Database Description (DD)
Field : DD sequence number
Length : 4 bytes
Contents : OSPF packet sequence number.
If multiple DD packets are needed for the database exchange process, they are identified by the unique sequence number.
