TCP - Ports / Sockets
Die folgenden Port-IDs gelten als "well known ports": sie werden allgemein verwendet, sind also "gut bekannt". Gemeinsam mit der voran gestellten Source-/Destination-Address ergibt ein Port den sog. "Socket". Eingeführt wurden diese allgemein verbindlichen Sockets mit TCP in BSD Unix BSD=Berkeley System Distribution); sie werden daher auch bezeichnet als TCP Sockets" oder "BSD Sockets".
